After racing for a season on an already un-tidy mower we thought it could do with a re-build. We want to strip the mower, clean, re-paint, re-make the A-frame, and look into a bike clutch. Check back during the winter months for progress on our re-build. Well we started the rebuild! The mower has been stripped. Engine removed, front steering removed, A-Frame removed, front and rear panels removed. Cutting deck removed, and the T-Drive and axle are off.
The front panel has been straightened and welded and after a bit of sand blasting should be ready for a bit of paint - but that won't be for a while!
This evening we decided to open up the T-Drive to make sure it was ok and also see how the T-Drive was made up so when we got the new one we knew what needed doing.
